the fighters (Vaksai, Heavy Xwing, RG Inty) are not part of the mining quest - they come from doing the mission chain with Kash station / Eyma.
The mining quest results in a small starfighter cargo bay, a large starfighter cargo bay, a mark 1 mining laser, a tractor beam, a "small" Y-8 cargo bay, and the Y-8 itself. Starts with Flash Harrison (something like that) on Kashyyk's surface.

There should be Mining Quests, CPG quests, Nym's starmap quests.
There is also the reward of a Lv7 gun from one of the Trando Slavers. Mssikiss (sp?) gives the rendili FG1-a a blue laser weapon.
Nym's starmap
L8 armor
Cert L8 RE L7 shield (in other words, it has the stats of a L7)
L8 engine
L10 Blaster

Would you mind elaborating on the "CPG Quests" and the Trandoshan slavers quest? Haven't seen anything on those.

The Civilian Protection Guild (CPG) are the missions from Rian and Eyma, and lead to access to the Heavy fighter missions, as well as the tier5 Duties. The mission from the trando slaver is justa 1 shot mission from one of the NPCs as far as I can see.

the slavers one, go east from wookie village, take lh fork, come to a narrow woodern bridge , its the first camp in frontof you after you cross over (its listed as a poi on oh map to i think) . hes in the 2nd tent on right, something about getting collars for wookies (very cruel) and take your time and read the dialouge, its very funny.

Do we have a compiled list of space quests that drop shiny reward loot?
So far, I've got:
Mining Quest (Kashyyyk)
- Flash Harrison, level 3 of the Kachiro tree-cantina
- Mining equipment (mining laser, cargo hold, tractor beam)
- deed (Y-8 mining vessel)
Kashyyyk Station Quests (Civilian Protection Guild)
- /comm with station and request mission
- Level 6 booster
- Level 7 Ion cannon
- deed (Vaksai/Heavy X-wing/Royal Guard Interceptor)
Nym's Starmap Quest (Rori)
- starts -5720 -2490 right outside Narmle on Rori
- talk to Nym in the Narmle Hotel after retrieving item from the pod
- level 8 armour
- RE level 7 shield
- level 8 engine
- level 10 blaster
Trandoshan Slavers
- go east from wookie village, takethe left fork, come to a narrow woodern bridge, its the first camp in frontof you after you cross over (its listed as aPOI onthe overheardmap) . Hes in the 2nd tent on right, something about getting collars for wookies (very cruel) and take your time and read the conversation, its very funny.

Anyone else?

i finished the destroy-the-avatar-quest yesterday, and recieved a crappy lvl10 blaster as reward

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong... but the Trandoshan slaver camp quest is currently broken. When I went to escort the freighter, the wookie a-wings were all unattackable (beeping sound when I hit them) and I was also invulnerable to their fire. So, I could escort the freighter no prob, but it kept getting shot as group after group of awings flew in. Eventually I failed the mission, but... there was nothing I could do.
