Hey all. I'm grinding to Meditate IV, however, I've heard mixed messages about what I get for mastering the Meditate line. Will I be able to heal my own wounds? Or is that a Master only ability?

Thanks.

You can heal your own wounds at Meditate 4. You heal them at about half the speed of a TK master. To be honest, it's not a whole lot faster than if you healed them with novice medic + novice entertainer but it's a whole lot more convenient.

two things will lack if your not master TK and have master meditate.

1) you meditate slower. that means you heal for about 19 wounds per pick, master heals around 30 per tick

2) power boost lasts a master over 5 minutes. for you it lasts about 4 minutes or less.

Not with meditate,,,, it just tells you, you get +15 to meditate each box. I doesn't say anything about any skills. BUT..... if you get the thrid box in meditate.... you have 60 meditate points... if you get a unarmed power-up on some article of clothing that gives you even +1 meditate... you can heal wounds while meditating only... sitting wont do it. Heal wounds is a 60+ meditate skill.... so at 61 you can heal wounds & wont have to get the forth box with another +15 to meditate.... 14 points I dont know what, IF anything, they are used for.

Each of skill boxes gives you the ability to heal a condition... dizziness, stun, etc etc... but it's been my experience that you cant meditate while in these conditions.... so how are you supposed to remove them through meditate if you cant begin meditating. No.... I dont remeber what boxes gives you which heals.. sorry... but you cant meditate to use them anyways. Hope this helps....

you post is a tad confuseing for somone that knows less about meditate then i do, and i was almost confused.

bottom line you heal wounds at master meditate and you cure poisons , and bleeds aswell.

it goes:

bleed

poison

wounds

in that order. master is 30% more effiecient, thats master TK .

From what I've seen that by becoming a master TKA you only get unarmedhit3 plus other skill bonuses to unarmed speed and unarmed damage and stuff like that. From what I can tell you can heal wounds with meditation once you master out the meditation line. Just to make sure, you can open up the skill (ctrl-s) screen. Goto Teras-Kasi Artist section and actually click on each level in meditation on the skill tree. It'll show you what new abilities and skill bonuses you get at each level of any skill in the TKA skill tree. You'll see those results inthe section right under the skill tree section. You can do this for any profession.

I hope this helps you out.

Has anyone ever looted this one? The reason I ask is because I have a selection of level 7 weaponry (and I couldnt buy this one) and I absolutely want to find one level 7 sienar weaponry, where the Original Higher pitched Tie Fighter sounds are present. I wonder if this could be it?

The Special Forces gun should have the green blaster and TIE scream sound effect. Might want to take it up for a test firing before you RE it or anything, though.

There's two types of 'scream' sounds

when you get the chance, listen to a tie fighter npc shoot, then listen to a tie interceptor npc shoot. two different sounds. Just for anyone who isn't clear
