Hey all, I've been lurking around these forums and I see that the new ship is the YT-2400... thats great. We all love that ship. But have you guys considered that they might pull a Sorosuub yacht on you guys and turn the YT-2400 into a non-combat ship?

I don't think they'll do that. I'm more worried about the requirements to fly the ship. Will it be like the JSF and require a ground-side faction to earn the ship? Or will only Freelancer be able to fly it?


I also think its unfair for you to chalk this up to the devs, they're being held back by the marketing dept. before they can tell us all the goodies that they've packed into this expansion. I'd really wish that they just tell us because from what they've announced so far, I'm still undecided as to whether I want to bother with it.


It was LA anyway that leaked this information, not SoE or the Devs. It was LucasArt's marketing dept. Not that theres anything wrong with starting the preorder for it...but I'd just rather have more information available about it before they start pushing it.
