Thread: BS helmet (any luck tonight?)

Anyone looted one tonight? I have killed over 10k BS in the past week and have not recived one. Only people I ever see with one seem to be newbie pilots that havent even gotten past 3333.

I got one right after I finished my tea with Harry Potter and got picked up by the Power Rangers to go to Batman's house... Oh wait, I was dreaming...

10k bs this week? Avging 30secs per blacksun, which can accoutn for waiting for spawns, moving between duty spots, ect, that makes 83 Hours of nonstop BS hunting.
I'd love to see your prestige count if this is avg for you.

Forgive the noob question, but what is so special about the BS helmet anyway? Is it just that it is so rare or does it give some kind of bonuses? I myself have gone grinding BS duty missions for it and I suddenly realized, I DIDN'T KNOW WHY I WANTED IT. 
Anyway, if anyone could tell me WHY it is so sought after, I would appreciate it.

Because it's rare.
Yeah, that's about it, although it DOES look very cool IMO.

Check the ahazi galaxy trade, a guy over there has looted 3 in a month.
They still drop

I looted two in three days and haven't seen anything since.
I do have some nice lvl 10 engines and lvl 8 guns to work with though.

Okay so 10k in the past week was a bit overstated butI have spent the past month playing between 2hrs and 9hrs (depending on my days off from work) killing BS. I even had a BS helmet hunting group going where a group of 6 freelance pilots would all get BS duty missionsand kill non-stop for as long as we could stand it. we ran that for 4hrs straight. and not one of us looted the BS helm.

an it can spawn from any Black Sun duty mission, which start with tier 4 ships, and at the end a tier 5 ship ?
