Thread: Where Do I get a Stupid Mining Ship?

I know the quest is somewhere. Do I get it before I start the quest? Do I have to do a whole series of quests? What is this about the mining laser and cargo hold? Can someone please me get answers... I was told you got a mining ship after you got master pilot, which didn't seem right and I now know is wrong since I am MP and no mining ship.

The quest begins on Kashyyyk, but is broken, you can complete a number of quest steps - resulting in you getting free mining gear (cargo bay, mining lasers & tractor). But the last couple of steps that get you the Y8 are not working.
On the bright side they're due to fix in Pub24, on the downside, we're not sure when that will be. But you can always start the quest and be well placed to complete it when the Publish finally rears its head.
