Thread: Having trouble doing GS
Behind isn't the best place to be as there is a weapon on the aft of the ship pointed directly at you. Below and a little aft is the best place, that puts you in the blind spot. The 550m mark is good to stay at. They won't hit you and your shot will count. I would also suggest targeting the engine and blowing it first. Then you can fly right up to 100m from the GB in the blind spot and just hold the fire button.
I normally do straffing runs on these until I take out the engine. I then sit in the blind spot and finish them off. But make sure your booster is charged and you have C2SS4 running and ready before you make your attack run. When your sheilds get to 75% (50% down on the front) hit the booster, hit C2SS4 and start evasive manuvers to get away.
