Thread: Postpone RE until after PUB 24???

Can't find the info on publish 24 and have several satchels of stuff ready to RE. But, seem to remember something about it being wise to wait due to - level bonus or reactor drain? Or, am I confused and should just get them RE'd?

hehe, its the bonus for the reactor drain that gets fixed
AS in right now, you get no bonus, but if ya wait, your reactor drain will be less

And a bonus to the reactor drain is always a plus! I'm almost beginning to think this publish is getting to be a mystical publish... kinda like that mystical smuggler revamp that was supposed to happen..

This is driving me insane, I got a bunch of things lined up to be REed, but have to wait until after pub 24 or I will be kicking myself in the pants after I realize what the reactor drain could have been.

don't worry man.. when I heard what pub 24 would have I was like sweet! went out of town for a few days and came back thinking that pub 24 would be here already.. even asked Ayanami if she had made any parts yets.. she was like huh? it hasn't come out yet.. i felt real stupid at that point,and i've been itching ever since.. I can't WAIT to get my nova set up to run in the PvP events. grr.. now i'm getting antsy again.

I highly recommend testing the bonus on some lousy parts first when this goes live. Knowing SOE, the first fix of this will add drain instead of subtracting it.

Also, as I've said numerous times before - this isn't the FIRST time they've fixed this. Last time was early December '04.
It was fixed for about a week, then got busted again. Fast forward to present day.......

I have some parts for a lvl 10 gun andI'm waiting for pub 24 to roll round with baited breath. But what I am definitely NOT going to do is log in as soon as the server goes up after the publishand do it... all that happened last time wasI lost all my sweet gear in a rollback
I'm waiting til a week after the publish when all the shenanigans have been ironed out before I go RE'ing anything...
