Im suprised I cant find the info Im looking for. If anyone can point me in the right direction pls do...

Im looking for help on whats the best stat i need to be looking at when purching each of the different components. I have a hard time telling if the higher the number the better or the lower. And some of the components, I dont know what stat I should even consider first before the others.

Thanks in advance for any help.

It varies from server to server because the materials vary from server to server.

Any long-term experienced Shipwrights worth their salt should be able to tell you what to expect from the low/mid/high-end resources.

There was actually a pretty good Friday Feature on this a few months back. While it won't give you any relative numbers to compare, it should break down what each stat means pretty well for you.

Best stat for a reactor is energy, for an engine it's speed/pyr, for a weapons capacitor it's regen and storage.

But the BEST stat for a part depends on the ship your trying to configure.

If your a 3-3-3-3 imp pilot laoding a tie bomber with all cert 7 parts can be done but if you want to fly the tie interceptor with 50k mass you be lucky to get 1 cert 7 part on it.

Talk to a shipwright he can help but it will take time as he has to make the part to fit the ship. I helped a guildie config a tie interceptor he had the weapon, capacitor and I made other components to fit the mass energy needed cert 1 reactor, cert 3 armor, cert 5 shield etc.

It's takes 2+ hours to do, easiest for shipwright is if can give him the ship and items you want to use and let him config it. But working with him also works to tweak the mass/energy but do pay the SW for his time and the parts.

you can program the commands you have from your pilot skills directly by opening up the "program droid" dialog from your datapad.....for the other routines, you'll have to get other faction pilots to program them on data chips that DEs can make, then those routines will appear once you have the chip in your Program Droid dialog
