I've noticed that Rebel tier 5 xp is reversed. The A-wing is extremely difficult to take out yet only gives 6000+ xp. However, the B-wing, the easiest gives 8K plus and the X-wing, in the middle and an easy target gives 7k+. Completely backwards. Anybody else notice this?

And what is up with that smell?

Leave the A-Wings alone. Problem solved.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair or **edit**ing beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you've got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man...

I'm convinced it has to do with weaponry. B-Wings and Y-Wings are armed with twin weapons (Ion Cannon and a blaster), plus missiles. X-Wings and A-Wings are armed with a single blaster.

eer i thought the other weapon i equip in mt y-wing ( am 2332 - dont ask - i trainded xx3x by accident) is for teh turret

so if i equip my y-wing with a second weapon, i shoot both at teh same time?

Basicly, yeah.

The experience per ship is granted by damage potential. Comparingship classes in a given tier, light but fast fighters yield the least, heavy fighters yield mid-range, bombers yield the most out of fighters. Logically, the next step up from bombers is are the NPC freighters(Nova Courier, Decimator, YT-1300), which will grant more than a bomber of the same tier, and gunboats, which give the most experience for that tier.

Rebel NPCs:

While A-Wings can zip about and bug the hell out of you, they only pack one cannon, meaning thier damage potential is very limited. X-Wings, have two cannons, but the NPCs rarely pack missiles(in my experience) on an X-Wing. While Y-Wings have the same number of cannons, they are almost always carrying missiles, meaning they are capable of dealing more damage than an X-Wing. B-Wings top the other fighters due to sheer firepower. Afterwards, the Nova Courier comes up as more experience, because it can take a few more hits, has two turrets, and missiles. Finally, the Rebel Gunboats top the experience ladder because of all the turrets they have on board.

All the XP stuff makes sense to me except for one thing. Why does a TIE Interceptor give less than a TIE Fighter? They both have 1 laser and no missiles, and the Interceptor has shields and as far as I've seen is actually more damaging.

No, you need a player to man the turret.

NPC Y-Wings and B-Wings shoot two distinct projectile weapons. A-Wings and X-Wings only shoot single blasters.
