Greeting Pilots,
I'm looking for some help doing killing the Vette to make master freelance pilot. Been trying for the past few days withvery littleluck, Thanks in advance for anyone whohelps. Send honorable a tell or email in game on Bria.

You taken alook at the FAQ? There's a few "how to solo the vette" guides.
What part are you having a problem with, specifically? Maybe we can offer some advice.

I have tried to kill the Vette 5 times and failed everytime. I read the FAQ and tried to incorporate those tips into what I was doing but in the end, I didn't make it.

I can't remember how many time I got vaped doing my first Corvette. Huge rush when you do it finally
More questions, then:
- What squadron are you doing?
- What are you flying (chassis, engine, shield, gun)?
- What droid programs are you using?

I am currently flying with the CorSec. I use Reactor, Capacitor, Weapon, Engine, and Capacitor Shunt ro Shield all level 3. As for the specific componentsof what I use in my Rhikxyrk, I can handle a full squadron of Tier 4 ships and take them out fairly quickly with the exception on gunboats which are also part of my problem.

Good to hear you're using the droid stuff. What are the stats on your shield and engine?
The Rhikxyrk, in my opinion, is just a big-ass target. Have you tried doing it in something a little smaller and faster?
My personal method:
1) Kite off the escorts (come in on the underside of the vette and the gunboats, pick one escort and blast away... deal with the escorts away from the main formation)
2) Stay below the vette, come in from behind, take out Gun 5 (missiles or blasters) --> after this you're home free
3) Stay below the vette, come in from below and to the rear of the gunboats (in their blindspot) and blast away at each until they're both dead
4) Stay below the vette (see a pattern?

), missile each subcomponent5) Watch the pretty explosions
With WO3 and Mark III Concussion missiles (12 to a pack), you have just enough to do the job. The key is staying below the formation, otherwise you get pounded into dust very quickly. With gunboats on rails, you can be just inside your maximum gun range and just outside theirs, and they won't hit you.

If you are Neutral, you have a few fun options...of course some may see it as a easy way out....but you can use IFF to reset the Corvette and gunships so they dont aggro. In fact the IFF can even be reused after 10 mins too. So with 3 space bombs and a blaster you can take out gun 5, Primary shield, fighters and secondary shield and not get hit once....but where is the fun in that

Get a couple of Tier4 pilots that need the XP, or Need the vette, and go have some fun. Despite what some people think, it wasn't meant to be solo'ed. (when I mastered, we had about 15 ships attack it, and 3 people make master out of it.)

That's a good point, I don't think you said WHICH Vette it is ... only SA and CorSec could attack both, and only CorSec could do either for the Master mission.
