I need help with my 3rd Tier 4 mission for Vortex Squadron. This is the mission where I have to kill the Inquisition leader. He is flying a T5 TA with 5 T4 escorts. I solo'ed all the way to this point without much of a problem but this mission chewed me up in about 30 seconds. I tried it 3 times and figured that I may have hit the point where I can't solo any longer. I'm on evenings from 6PM EST during the week (and Saturday) and can be on all day Sunday. Any help would be greatly apreciated. I'm on Ahazi and my toons name is Hepol. Email me in-game or PM me here. Thanks.

Is this the one that has the survival mission in Endor? If so, make sure to disable the nearby Tier 5 droid fighters - they really screw things up when you already have 15 Tier 4 TIEs on you.

If not, I recomend loading up all overloads (assuming you aren't already) and concentrating on disabling the Inquisitor first. Once that's done just disable them all and go mop up the leftovers. I recomend using an X-Wing for the manueverability/firepower hybrid you get that lets you be evasive, all the while pouding your target into space dust.

use the jsf /belbulab..u wont have any problem beyond 4333. with the right layout youll barely get hit and u cant take em out easy... use reactor oveload 3 , cap overcharge 3 , weapon overload 3 , engine overload 3 , cap to shield shunt 4.

This is one of my Tier 4 screwups. I trained the components box first and meant to train the ship box next but accidentally trained the third box. I was a little pissed at the time but so far the first to T4 missions weren't that difficult so I thought it would be no big deal. The only to overloads I'm running are Cap to Shields 3 and CO3. I have the Bell and it was going to be my next ride.

Anyway, thanks for the info. Although I hate needless spamming. I may need to spam for help.

I got chewed up by this mission twice, too, flying an X-wing.

You *really* need to change ships for this one, an A-wing or other highly manuverable, low profiledogfighter is ideal.

When I switched to an A-wing, I had far less trouble, and completed it solo. Cap to Shield Shunt 3 + capacitor overcharge 1 on a high-regen capacitor is very useful, particularily since the A-wing's single gun doesn't drain the capacitor fast enough to overcome the regen rate.

I did thisin an A-Wing. It was pretty dicey until I disabled some of the T4 escorts. At the beginning, don't be stubborn when you're getting hit hard from behind. Change targets and try to keep the majority of the TIEs in front of you. I went for the weaker escorts first to cut down on the firepower being directed at me then finished the Inquisitor off last. He tags you pretty hard if you get on his six, so try jousting with him.

I think you'd would have an easier timeif you addedEO3 and CtSS4 to your routine.

Edit: Oh! And good luck!
