I will preface this with saying that I am a new pilot. Just made Ace on Saturday. I have enjoyed pilot so much that I also respec'ed one of my alts to shipwright. The shipwright on my server likes to experiment speed. Makes MK4 Engines at 100 top speed and YPR is around 57.

I decided to make an engine myself and experiment YPR. Speed is 86 and YPR is64-66 I love the maneuverability this engine gives my JSF. I prefer it much better than the speed. All I have done is PvE so I do not know how I would fair in PvP. Just wonderingabout other people'sexperiences with speed vs YPR.

If you like that engine, wait until you slap in your 70PYR REd L6 engine and run E04... Since I was going from a Kryat to the JSF, I barely hit anything at first. The maneuverability is just crazy! For PVE, I find YPR helps, but it's not that big a deal. For PVP, YPR is king if you let yourself get into a circle-fight.

Does YPR really affect much anymore? I was under the impression that YPR was overridden by chassis stats (which makes a bit more sense overall).
