I've been flying since JTL beta, but so far I've never tried to trade flight computers with anyone. Last night, I purchased a low-level FC, and loaded a few of my commands into it for use by a lower level pilot. However, trading did not work, it would just cancel everytime. I could not traid the FC from my datapad to the other pilot, and neither could she do the same.
Is there a bug in trading FCs, or a nerf, or am I just doing something wrong? Can anyone enlighten me on how one goes about trading programs with other pilots?
Cheers

I've never been able to successfully trade F.C.s, I've even tried unloading all the programs. I was very suprised when someone traded me an astromech the other day so I could put programs in it for him. As for how to trade programs, that's what unprogrammed droid chips from DEs are for.

A friend and I had that same problem last night when he tried to give me one of his old flight computers. I'm not sure what all he had to do to get it to work. He tried all sorts of things..... I'll see if I can get him to post here....

well i dont hink you can trade it because of his ability to load tht higer lvl FC. now it may be a bug but if you are trying to trade him a FC tht is 125% loaded and he can only hadle a FC tht will only take a ssay 100% load then you wont bea able to trade him. i hope tht makes sence. if he wants to have a diffrent droid commands just have him buy ready chips and load it him self. hope this helps

Get some unprogrammed droid chips from a DE. (If you can't find any holler Bekah and I will give you a few). You program your commands onto these and then you trade the chips. The pilot can then load these chips into their flight computer

Bah.....
I just spent 100k on crates of unprogramed driod chips to program my own skills. Guess that's what I get for using an old Dev written guide on using droids

Doh! Umm, did you actually use the chips? If not, program'em and toss'em on the bazaar. Good way to recoup your cost.
