I believe only rebs can use droids. Try opening your datapad and get the radial menu up, see if you can load them in that way.

i love the pilot forums

so like the commando forums only switch the devs with the players

Imps still need droid astros for the JSF, and you access the droid from the data pad the same way you would a flight computer.

Hmm much misinformation here.

Imperials do use droids for the JSF for example. If you want non-certed programs i.e. ones you dont get for your level and so forth

you need to have a friend but them on a droid chip for you first.

The you go to your datapad and select program droid on the redial menu for the droid in question. This will give you a menu

in which your imperial programs are listed followed by those you have available on chip.

I did this yesterday and noticed that I get problems if I load the imperial programs first as some of the droid chip programs dont

register. I suggest therefore you load all chip programs and commit these and then load up the imperial progs you want.

Good grief, search! There's like four guides floating around that would make your life sooo easy. Check the FAQ, then check my sig. And use the Search feature when in doubt.

i'm a netural pilot so i can't use astromech's but i'm pretty sure you need an R2 instead of an R3(unless that was a typo and you meant R2) anyways you'll need to get an R2 with a lvl that you are certed for since you are a 4333 pilot you will need a lvl 4 R2 astromech. as how to actually program an R2 it should be along the same lines as flight computers so open your datapat and right click and on the radial menu you should see an option to program it. now load it up and launch into space and pull up your abalities menu and you'll see a tap labeled astromech under that tab all your commands will be ther for you to add to your hotbar. hope this helps
