I just did, well the enemy didnt say black sun - something something anyway.

Pretty ironic since ive just finished my daily 3-4 BS duties get bored and kill some random ship and bobs yer uncle BS helmet looted

Im not saying what dropped it, tommorow im going back and i hope it a 1:1 drop from this thing

I've never seen it drop off anything except Black Suns. In fact, I'm partially inclined not to believe you without proof. Maybe you looted it and didn't notice? Or it bugged and didn't show up right away for some reason?

After you test this, come back and let us know what you find. Be interesting to know if whatever random ship you got it off of is somehow related to the Black Sun group. Lots of random ships around with no lore on 'em.

Just killed it again, only got a lv6 TIE elite capacitor this time

Enemy was...

Dark Eclipse

Heavy Warlord Cruiser

The massive hunk of junk in dath system that spawns every hour or so

It was definately this enemy as i have system messages on and saw it appear come up when it died.

The Warlord is a Black Sun ship. No one ever thought it dropped the helmet though. Good catch!
