Thread: Devs screwing with the space loot tables again?

Looted a level 2 engine tonight that gives the Star Trek appearance on the Y-wing. To my knowledge, there wasn't such an engine before, was there?

I'm sure I've seen these before, but I don't remember getting the alt appearance...

Yeah i think that effect was in looted engines before. Dont remember if it was a reward engine that did it or not.

I think theres some L8 engines that give that effect, dont remember the name offhand but id remember it if i saw it.

Well, the level 8 and 6 reward engines give the alternate appearance, yes...but this was definitely a looted level 2 engine that gave the alt. I've never seen one do this before.

Honestly... I run into more alternate pattern engines than standard... but that is just me...

Honestly i think they have been screwing with the tables. High YPR engines have become increasingly difficult to find. I suspect sony dropped the loot YPR values so their "a little" better then crafted and not the leaps and bounds better that they've been. Can't prove that, dont take my word on it, its just a hunch.
