Ok, so I'm doing Corsec with my new alt, and halfway through tier 1 I'm doing the duty missions. Well, one of the pirates leaders I have to defeat is Mori The B*st*rd. Really!

Now, if I were to name my toon Kalia The B*st*rd (or "the B*tch" as it would be more fitting) a CSR would be all over me in a heartbeat, either banning me, or at the absolute least, changing my name. So how does an NPC get away with it?

(P.S. I couldn't even write the actual name in this post cause the forum refused it. "The message subject contains the following prohibited content: 'B*st*rd' You must remove this content before submitting your post." Go figure.)

I know the guy at the Bestine Cantina who gives out the Robo Arm Quest says B@star@d.

I don't know about the CSR thing, but as for filters those are usually generic word lists that they never update.

The word is even used in the Jedi Academy trilogy, so I don't think they could say it's not "Star Warsy", .
