You were told incorrectly.
The best way to grind in space is to get in your own ship, and shoot down the mobs yourself. That way you get more "stick time" become more familiar with the nuainces of flying, and have a better feel for how your ship performs and what you need to do to it, to improve it.
Nobody can do that for you. If all you want is a free ride to Master pilot, dont be surpised if you recieve chastizement from other pilots later on that is much akin to what an ebay purchased jedi recieves.

Iadjusted this thread so that I don't sound like I'm asking for a free ride to Master Pilot. What I want is for someone to grind with in space and show me the good spots to get the best xp possible at my skill level.
