If this is anerror like the 1350 out of 930 capacitor energy then once have a one shot invincibility buffer right there.

Very nice. As for the thing about the capacitor, if you overload your capacitor and land, the stats will still say what the reactor was overloaded, at least it has a couple times on my ship.

yep, there was a time when i would launch, and my cap would be 1000/935 energy, but after the first shot it would go back to 935/935

Every single time I launch my capacitor is always at 1350. I have never used the overload programs and every time I land the capacitor is usually half-charged from me firing at the landing station. I can fire for about one or two seconds without any drain thanks to this error, even though it does little good. It resets the maximum energy on the first shot so I get the one or two second buffer while it resets.

I haven’t had anything RE’d as yet (afraid I don’t get in game as much as I would like) but would I need to get more bugged items or is it possible to pick which one I wish to use the stats from? I’m willing to give it a try and see what happens, worst case is I wind up with a super bugged item I hang on my wall as decoration (which is all this is now since it was given to me).

REing is completely risk-free. heres how it works, so that shield has an RE level of 5, so that means if you got 4 others that have an RE level of 5 you can have them REd. Find a shipwright with the necessary tool and skills and they can do it for you. what happens is the new part that is produced takes the best stats from all of the original parts. so if the 1000 front hp on that shield was the best of all the parts, then the new part would have 1000 front hp plus a small bonus (i think 3%, not sure though) lets say another one of the shields had a better recharge rate than that one, then the new part would also have that recharge rate plus the bonus, so REing is great and is important in having the best parts you can.
