I was wondering what was the lowest mass people have seen on looted lvl 8 weapons. Lowest I have is 25.8k

The lowest I've personally seen is 24.9k, and it was a Gyrhil 72 Twin Blaster, I believe.
The Armek SW-7a and MM Heavy Annihilator also seem to have low masses.

do weapons drop more often off certain mobs? I swear it seems that Imps drop weapons and enginesmore often, and Neuts tend to drop more reactors and boosters. Do any of you Neut/Rebs notice Rebs drop shields more? That would follow the pattern

I haven't noticed any difference. But when I'm in space most of the time its for a black sun duty mission.
Heres what i usually get from 1 complete mission:
A bunchof boosters, armor, and capacitors (5 or more each)
Afew engines, reactors and droid interfaces (3-4, on occasion i'll get more)
1 or 2 weapons
Most if not all of the loot gets sold to the dealer except the weapons.
I think I'm just going to go ahead and make a RE'd lvl8 gun with the 25k mass weapon. I was able to free up some space in my x-wing and it'll fit with a mass of 25k
