I have enough experience for another of my tier two slots in my alliance pilot skills. I started in talus I believe, i know my second tier began in lok in nyms palace, (thats where the trainer was) I did some missions for a man on the dantooine space station, and he granted me access to a rebel hideout, there is a rebel pilot, and ive done 2missions for him. Now the only of the 3missions that he offers ive done. He says he will train me. (im assuming im eiher in the wrong place, to get trained or need to cap on the xp needed to train first. (but im already 40k over...) any help on this matter would be most appreciated, a frustrated rebel alliance pilot.

You have managed to confuse me rather thoroughly. Are you running tier 2 missions or tier 3 missions? Better yet, what skills do you have so far? I believe you had to have started on Corellia, Naboo, or Tatooine, so I'll assume Corellia unless you're convinced you started somewhere else. Were you sent to the pilot trainer in the Dantooine hideout, or did you just decide to go there? What missions have you done for the Dant trainer?
OK, let's work from there and try to figure out where you are.

OK, you have two things going on here. You are in the middle of tier 2 and you say that your tier 2 trainer in on Lok. You also say you have run two missions for someone on Dantooine.
If I understand correctly in that your tier 2 trainer in on Lok then it should not matter what you do for whoever you have found on Dantooine. You will be able to train tier 2 skills when you have the experience and have done the missions for your tier 2 trainer. If that is not enough, then....
Who is your tier 2 trainer?
What happens when you try to talk to your tier 2 trainer?
When you say you have run a mission, please say whether it was a tier related mission, duty mission, or story mission unrelated to your training.

The poster is in one Rebel Squadron, but he's visiting the trainer for a different one. The missions you're getting in Dantooine are just Duty missions from an aligned squadron (Vortex), not storyline missions that are part of your advancement as a pilot. Any Rebel can get permission to land at the Abandoned Base, and rookie pilots often don't know the difference between Duty and Storyline missions, so thats where the confusion arose I wager. The NPC may mistakenly say something about training you, but he's not supposed to.
