I'm not sure if this ever came up, but I'm bored.

When JTL came out, I was disappointed with the Tie Advanced apperence. I always felt that the one in JTL was "Vaders Tie". I felt it should have been reserved for Vader, and that the rest of us should have gotten the more "production" version that was in the SW games. After getting used to it, I now wish that we could choose which version we use, like the privateer ships.

Anyone else prefer the look of the ones in the previous games?

I too would like to see this ship. I'm sure Vader's X1 was chosen since it was in the movies. Also, to the best of my knowledge, there is no ships in the game that were created by Totally Games (X-wing/TIE series creators). I wonder if there is some legal issue where they have partial ownership of the designs that they created. I'm sure old GL has some ownership, but there must be some issue, unless SOE just doesn't want to use someone elses designs.
