I really don't see myself doing any of that alone.
Especially since the guns on those gun boats tear through my shields in 3 or 4 hits without using cap -> shield shunt.

Seriously... that sounds far too simple since the gunboats are so tough, I know for a fact I can't solo a lone gunboat, let alone 2. I'm curious as to what your component's stats are, Viduus? would you mind posting them so we have a baseline of what stats to have before attempting this?

I will post my rihkxyrk setup as soon as I get back... from the top of my head:
Crafted Reactor that's 12 energy more than I use
Reward Cert 8 engine from Tier4 RE'd
Reward Shield RE'd
Crafted Booster
Crafted light armors
Gun 1 - RE'd Cert 9
Gun 2 - Reward Cert 8 Borstel (not yet RE'd)
Gun 3 - RE'd Cert 8 Gun
No Launcher
Basic CM's.
(at the time i did it for master, the 1st gun was an RE'd cert 8 as well)

Hello all. The name is Fernishku and I am in dire need of some help. I've talk to some of my guild buddies and have found a couple people to help me out, but I still need more. Please send me an email, or a tell in game letting me know you'd be able to help me destroy the imperial corvette. I'd love to get this done as soon as possible for I have been stuck at 4/4/4/4 for about 2 weeks now. I generally play tuesday nights from 6-9 (then get back on later), thursday nights from 6-9 (then get back on later), and at random times during friday, saturday and sunday. Please, help a fish in need.
Also, do you all think I should just sit in Kessel whenever I play and wait for people to come along who are after the corvette?
Thanks for everything,
Fernishku.

As a Freelancer, you can solo the corvette, but it does take skill and patience.
Get close to the vette, target weapon 5, be confident of your aim, and shoot. 3 shots should take it out at most.
As soon as you release the trigger hit IFF SCRAMBLE.
Get away from the vette.
Coming back in from behind and beneath, target the escort ship furthest from the vette and closest to you... get as far out of range as you can, then take 1 well-aimed shot to aggro it. The entire escort will aggro you now, so booster your butt out of range of the vette and take them out a.s.a.p. If you can do the aggressors, then the oppressors, then the rest. Those are your worst enemies, in that order.
Now the gunboats: these are why most people run out of time.
Take the one in the rear, target Weapon2, and hover at 550m range... at 545 shoot, stop shooting at 555, and cap2shield as needed. Once Weapon 2 is destroyed approach a little more, staying underneath and take it out. Start with the Shield subsystem, once that is gone DISABLE subsystem targetting and just flat out shoot it.
Get out of range while the other gunboat repositions itself, as the vette will wobble and fire on you.
Rinse, repeat.
The Vette.
Approach from underneath and behind. You took out the only weapon that could shoot there, so don't be too worried.
Go to the left, take out the shields (aim is slightly higher than the actual lead indicator). Repeat on the right for Secondary Shield.
Take out gun 6 and 7 on those sides while you're there.
Now do the engine.
Go back underneath... this baby isn't going to reach it's hyperpoint now... crawl up until you have line of sight on the rest of the weapons. Target them if you need to, but take them out. You may need to go out of range and come strafing in to take out #4, the top-mounted 360-degree dangergun. Again approach from the rear at least horizontal to the vette, pop up, aim down, and blow it.
Once they're all done, (a minute tops) then pop the reactor and the windshield and *voila* 'vette destroyed.

Also, the gunboats firing range has been raised from 500-700m so people can't sit right outside the firing range... so I'm still wondering if the sitting at 555m works? Not to mention gunboats move now

The gunboats on the vette move inconsistantly, but they do move in a straight line. It's possible to nail them this way with a great deal of caution.
I do normally take a hit or 2 on some approaches, need to caop2shield and back off for a sec, and try again. It's important to stay below.
