I'm currently 2212 Freelance pilot and have recieved the following mission:

Space Destroy Mission Object

Type: Space Destroy

Description: Hunt down Nym craft operating in the lok system

The mission gives no waypoint? When i go to lok space there was no nym ship in the area, i've spent over 1hr looking and couldnt finda single nym craft.

In the end i found 1 nym craft on what apeared to be a recurring spawn, i killed it numerous times but nothing happened to the mission?

can anyone help me with this mission / let me know if i'm doing it right.

You doing the Corsec tier 2 exit quest?

If so, there was no WP when I did it the other day, just smoke some Nym's and it will tell you how many you have left.
I believe it's supposed to be 5 total, but it seemed a bit flaky in updating as I killed them.
I think it went:
kill 1st > no update
kill 2nd > 4 left
kill 3-5 > normal count, 1 left
kill 6th > no update
kill 7th > completed
So I should have killed 5, but killed 7 total.
Bug? Lag? Ya got me.

I was at the jump point closest to the station and waited a minute or two for a WP, but the Nym's started showing up after that so I tried killing 'em.
Maybe someone did it right before you and they were not spawning for a bit.
Just try again.

My SWG Observations

If they stopped the expansions for one year and gave quality revamps to the professions that need it most, many people would resubscribe.
With all the resubs, and the new players, there would then be plenty of money to hire enough people to do 2-4 quality revamps per year plus 1-2 larger expansions per year and/or 2-4 smaller expansions per year, and not give the BigWigs a pay cut. (Possibly even an increase)

There is a specific type of Nym you have to kill, 1 of the 3 that are natural spawns. You probably got 1 of the correct type each time you got an update. (my alt just did Corsec last week)

Ah, well there ya go.

I didn't read the mission description in the datapad, figured it would give a WP, but whatever.
I read the mission as it was handed out, figured that was enough, or else I just missed the part about a specific type of ship.

Just kill anything in Lok with Nym in the name. I think, about 5-10 Craft
