I'm sure this has been posted before but I've spent the last hour searching for answers to find nothing. I am a 2212 freelancepilot with Cor-Sec. My mission is to go to Lok space and find a Nym Cannon(I'm not sure of the exact name) ship. After I find the ship I am to disable it, inspect it, and dock with it to retrieve orders of some sort. I have done all this and I get no update at all. I found another ship... same process. I finally decided to land thinking I had done the mission. Seems like that wasn't it. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Or is the quest bugged and I stay at 2212 until they decide to fix it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just did this a few days ago.

Is this the one with 3 escorts and the target is tier3?
Stupid memory, jeez.

It's not perma-bugged, maybe just the time you tried it.

If I'm remembering correctly, after you trash the escorts and dock with the ship you have to escort it for about 5 minutes.
There will be 3-5 waves of about 3 fighters to take out.
Only the ship you hit will turn hostile, not all of them at once, so that makes it a bit easier, not that it was hard to begin with.

Bug fixes. Heh! Smuggling. Heh! A Jedi craves not these things.

My SWG Observations

If they stopped the expansions for one year and gave quality revamps to the professions that need it most, many people would resubscribe.
With all the resubs, and the new players, there would then be plenty of money to hire enough people to do 2-4 quality revamps per year plus 1-2 larger expansions per year and/or 2-4 smaller expansions per year, and not give the BigWigs a pay cut. (Possibly even an increase)

Thanks for the reply. That's not the same mission however. The good news is I just went back and tried it again and it worked. So you must be correct about the time I originally did this mission. Hope there are no other missions that have a temp bug.

It's not bugged, just a pain ... you have to find the right sort of ship, and I don't know if they all have whatever you need.

This is a very confusing mission because there's very little explaining. Go to the waypoint you're given and wait there, don't go chasing the Nym Cannon that pops up some 5,000m or so. Instead look for the X-Wing Nym escorts, I think it's three of them. They appear very close to you and don't attack you.

Destroy all three and as soon as you've done it the right Nym Cannon will appear. Disable it, board it, and you'll complete the mission.

It took me around 20 tries to figure this out.
