Thread: Kashyyyk station quest question

hiya not sure about this but i have done the quest for the vaksai fighter and received the deed for it, if i dump neutral pilot and take up rebel pilot will the quest let me do it for the heavy x-wing from the reb station or am i prety much stuck with the vaksai?

As I understand it, you COULD have gotten the Heavy X before you dropped privateer pilot, as long as you are rebel on the ground. Dropping privateer though makes you unable to get the heavy X now.
At least this is how I understand it to work..I could be wrong though

Go ground rebel and trying talking to Emya again to see if he says anything about the Rebel station wanting to talk to you about something. If he doesn't, try talking directly to the station and ask if they have a challenge for you. If the station doesn't offer you the mission to get the Adv. X (and as a last resort), drop freelance and go Rebel pilot as well as ground and try talking to Emya and the station.
I dropped RSF and ground Imperial to go SA and ground Rebel. This reset the space part of the quest but not the ground part of it (Rian acts like she's never talked to me but Emya tells me to talk to Rian for missions). I believe you still have the option of going back and getting one of the other reward ships by aligning yourself with one of the ground factions. While I haven't tried this yet, it should still work. We are able to collect 2/3rds of the Kash station reward ships so there is still hope that you can get the Adv. X.

ok i have dropped freelance pilot and im now 3333 rebel pilot, i talked to emya and he does mention something about more missions from my superiors however the dialog goes nowhere and no quests/instructions are given i was on leave at the time tho and next time i log on ill try going to combattant and asking again, ill post again if this helps and thanks again for the info

Just a thought. Is the mission subject to master pilot or even having the right box i.e 4xxx in order to start it cause i cant get anywhere with this.
whether im combattant or not on the ground Emya still says the same thing that my "superiors at the reb outpost have more missions for me", then the next conversation choice i get is either "stop conversing" or "i dont know what you mean" if i choose "i dont know what you mean" he say "no your probably right" (or something along those lines) so i dropped my rebel pilot and took smugglers alliance again (im only 0000 tho) and tried again but absolutely no difference, im kinda getting a bit frustraed with this so again any advice or suggestions would be nice thanks

At that point, after you end talking to Emya, launch into space and head to the Rebel station in Kash space. Talk to the station and do whatever mission they have for you until you get the option of looking for a challenge. That's the quest for the Advanced X. The only thing that makes a difference is if you are ground rebel/neutral/imperial with freelance pilot as to which quests you're eligible for.

still having probs tho as the reb station gives no quests or missions, it only asks if i want to declare.
ive tried declaring and waiting for a few mins till its properly taken effect then asking again but still just the same, asks if i want to go overt, i even tried then talking to Rian at the station while overt ect ect but i still cant get anywhere

Are you at the right station? Ithink there are 2 imperial stations in Kashyyyk so there may be 2 rebel ones as well. I'd have to check my waypoints this evening when I get home, but you may be at the wrong station. I only think this because I do not remember there being an option to declare at the rebel station. I could also be wrong on that thought as well.
If there isn't a second station in Kash, you may be stuck with getting the Vaksai only.
