Thread: How to complete mission?

I'm a 2-2-2-2 pilot in Vortex Squadron.My trainer gives me a mission to destroy an Inquisition pilot, which I do with no problem. After that, I am given a series of other missions (escort Imperial defector, defend Vortex base until it becomes operational, disable and dock an Imperial Spy). I completed those missions without any problem. (Okay, not without any problem, I had armor damage from the YT-1300 Imperial Spy, but still got it on the first try.)
After I disable and dock the Imperial Spy, I receive a message that I am to deliver the information I got to a transport. I go to the waypoint I am given, and a transport arrives. As I expected, a wave of Imperial fighters came. The Rebel transport seems to do nothing, while the ships attack. As more waves come in, the transport continues to do nothing. What am I supposed to do to complete this mission?
I had a similar problem in Storm Squadron (same level). I could get to the point where I was supposed to deliver something (which I got from an experimental Rebel A-wing) to a Lambda-Class Shuttle. I could get to the shuttle, but I couldn't dock with the shuttle or anything. I just fought off (and eventually died to) A-wings.
I would appreciate any assistance in this matter,

Target the shuttle and dock by pressing u.
I did Vortex about 2 weeks ago on my tour of the pilot squads, and that is what i had to do, and indeed what you have to do for all delivery missions.

your suppose to dock with the transport. highlight the transport get within 100 from it and hit dock or /dock. thats it.

Odd, I seem to remember getting a "that ship refuses your request to dock" messagewhen I tried it in Storm Squadron. Iadmit thatI didn't get a chance to try it in Vortex, though. Thanks for the info, I'll try the mission again tomorrow.
By the way, do you know if that's the last leg of the mission?

ya i think it is the last leg if not its the sec to last. If you get the message refuses to dock even after you finish off the ships attacking or if its the endless fleet of ships attacking. Disable the transport by targeting the engine or reactor then you should be able to dock no problem.

I finished the mission today without any major problems (no death, only armor damage, and I ended up replacing the armor anyway). Best part is that I can now use level 6 and 7 components.
