Can this be done in space and if so what is the command so I know when I use all my ordance up I want to put more in the tubes.

No, it can't be done in flight, only at a Starship Terminal.

It can, if you are rebel.
Don't think the ability works in kessel or deep space though

But the missiles suck because Rebels were using them for one-hit PvP kills in Kessel against newbies who thought they could make it without using a chaff launcher.

thanks guys. Don't suppose it is something that can be programmed onto a chip and used by freelancer?

Heh, i'm quite against missles in the condition that they are currently in anyway. I just keep a tube loaded incase i need to retaliate heavily. otherwise i never use 'em. Quite cheap if you asked me. (for PvP that is. go nuts for PvE 
)
