I have two accounts, one is the ground pounder and the other is the spacer - when I'm bored of one I play with the other, simple . Anyway, I've been logging my Neutral Corsec Ace a lot lately, helping members of the guild I'm in with various missions and xp - and bagging thousands (about 2500+) of Blacksuns through the spawn and the duty mission I seem to be able to get from the RSF trainer in the room opposite the Theed Librarian (still a little skeptical as to whether I can loot the helmet from that, I keep telling myself loot tables don't work like that, lol).

Anyway, was using d-xp to take guildies into space in my gunner seat to get them the rich xp and took a look in my skills screen. Shock horror - 48 million pilot prestige.

Not normally a problem, but when you think that if I were to drop my tree and take a new route, all of that will turn to negative numbers!! Is that a bug or something? I have read nothing about it and know nothing about it, but really, can't be deliberate ...

Also was thinking about how faction points are used to buy faction related things, so why not be able to use your prestige to buy pilot related things? I would'nt mind paying a few million prestige to buy ship miniatures of the flyable ingame ships - or maybe even holos. We could boost the shipwright profession by being able to buy ship schems for them to craft, or even special optionals to add tocrafted parts. Special abilities could be included, like "Emergency Support" where a set number of faction-specific ships hyperspace to near your location and attack your attackers.

Prestige is under-utilised heavily, though I don't know what future plans are scheduled for it. And of all the topics I hear of player capital ships, yes that would be great if it were the X-wing vs. TIE Fighter game engine (still playing that one), but whenever I'm in Deep Space and see the Star Destroyer going at it, 100 lasers firing at once = 5fps . Seriously, game engine doesn't show that it can hack it - and I doubt a revamp will occur just to bring in space battles of the X-wing Alliance scale (I really hope I'm wrong, Star Wars isn't the same without a wall of laserfire to plough through).

Also, shipwrights should get loot and mining bonuses in space purely based on the fact they know what to look for, it would introduce a more roleplay element.

I have many disposable characters - well I do now thanks to this locked class idea.

Sig space for rent, great prices. Can support clickies.

For those of you who are leaving us and reside on Corbantis, I offer a player safekeeping system of items and credits ... PM me for more information

Don't drop with an inspiration buff, then you won't get negative xp.

Not sure, but the same probably goes for double xp week.

Double xp doesn't cause any problems with switching squadrons. I dropped Storm Squadron just last night and was set down at 0. That's like the third time I've been surprised to note I just lost 35M pilot prestige, though

We still have no use for Pilot Prestige other then going into deep space with it....I suggest SOE send's us a free bottle of beer for every 100K we reimburse. Ack...I can feel my liver shriveling up at that thought...oh well more beer will wash away the pain..
