Similar problem here. My faction standing is fine, but as a crafter with combat lvl 1, I don't know how to get in the palace... Anyone knows? Or am I really totally screwed?

I've got the same problem with my another toon on Flurry. He can land at Jabba's but can't get past the foyer. Can't start the themepark either because of slightly negative Jabba faction. So off to Naboo I go to run a couple Borvo missions.

I get two missions to destroy large Borvo forts. I kill the guys manning them: no change in faction status. I kill the forts: no change in faction status. So although I completed two the two missions against Borvo's guys, I neither gained Jabba faction nor lost Borvo faction. Bugged it. Anyone else seeing this? Pretty much brings my progression as a pilot to a halt.

Yep, got a friend with me to do some missions against Valarians: no faction update at all: nor Valarians nor Jabba while before killing these guys gained you Jabba faction points.

On top of that, on my other toon, I remember the guy at the door just said that I had to couldn't get in because of my standing. Now the guy just tells me he is too busy...

I can't figure out how to get in now, so I have asked a CSR to help me... I read somewhere that if you talk to Tat space station, before you fill your last box in tier 2, you get a special mission to gain access... With tier 2 completed however, this option is no longer there... And you should start at tier 0 if you want to do it all over. Grrrrr

Solution: get a heavy scyk, fill it with tier 4/5 components. Drop SA, retake SA use the overloaded scyk to zoom straight back to tier 2.

Game only checks the ship certification when launching, not the components.

Hm, I considered that, but I see that as a workaround, which takes some unneccessary time. Would have to grind from scratch to 2222 again, with a heavy scyck with tier 2 components. I am getting the feeling that there will be no other option, but I am still hoping that a CSR might help me by just dropping one box of tier 2..

Anyway, can someone confirm that there is an option from Tat station that will let you get in? If you know, please tell me what the mission is, and how it works. Otherwise I will be having the same problem again at 1222...
