I thought it would be cool for people who don't want to contend with workarounds for the Y-8 issue to be able to dock our ships at Space Stations. We could do quests or something, I guess, but more than that, it would just be cool. We wouldn't have to wait for a loading screen, so it would be less of a pain. My ship only takes a little bit to go, say, 10k m to the SS anyway. I would be able to /dock or hit "U" on my keyboard, and my ship would autopilot into the hole in the SS. There, I would be able to get out of my ship and unload my resources, or reconfigure my components. We should be able to get out here, BTW.

This would allow people to display their ships proudly to other pilots, and make things more convenient in general. We could remodel the Space Stations, as much as I like them now, to have seperate docking bays. A player could go into a docking bay and poke around inside someone's ship, depending on the permissions, and maybe be able to fly it, depending on the permissions. You could tell your friend to pick up your ship from docking bay 97 or something and they would drop by and do so. Excess space could be filled by NPC ships.

We could have quests and stuff for this. It would be FUN. Please realize that although the devs should fix the bugs first, they will be working on that stuff anyway, and they will inevitably come out with something new anyway, to make everyone have something to do. Why not this?
