Not too bad a loadout, for a TIE/A. I'd probably go the other direction though, and do a 6/6 weapon loadout in favor of better shields and armor.

6/6's work, but as someone once pointed out to me, 5/7's fire faster.

PvP I'd go 5/7 too and good on'e end at around 2k more mass than 6/6
PvE 6/6 if you use alot of the high end damage ones

I'd actually go for the 6/6 for PvP, too--a good level 6 is going to smack nearly as hard as a level 7, and I want someone to know it if I touch 'em.
There's too great a chance in a 5/7 combo of hitting them with one blast from the level 5 and watching them zip away unharmed.

not likely for my preference I run high end 5/7 with same refire in same group so I'm putting out near(better if 6/6 fired staggered)equivalent damge at .32 refire

To each their own.
Then again, I'm a level 6 fanatic--engines, weapons, capacitors, you name it!

I'd use a lvl 6 and a 5 I think. I'd ensure they were out of sync too just to frighten my opponent more. I know that individually, the max damage caused won't be that spunky if one blaster hits home, but with a nice alternate refire, I'd be aiming to place consecutive hits on my opponent.
