Thread: Stupid Hyperspace Question

This has always confused me since JTL launched. Why must ships go to a complete stop during the 5-4-3-2-1 countdown to the jump? It's not like they had to do that in Star Wars. On many occasions, they would have gotten heavily vaped by stopping before jumping.

its a fault of the JTL code, it kicks on autopilot but the AP has no destination so it stops you.

Just hit the booster before the countdown, you still can't steer but at least you'll bemoving at top speed.

In the movies they had pre-pre-nerf droid interfaces with no delays and allowed them to execute commands in real-time.
