I'm running a PC on my trade forums right now, but I was wondering what you guys though. How much would you pay on your respective servers for a pre-nerf DI (about 500 mass and reactor drain with 14-15 speed) these days?

Lets see... I would pay about 1k given the strange tings I see on the bazzar from time to time, but seriously... about 2 million tops.

Being from bloodfin I'm very interested in picking up one of these DI's, maybe even two for a backup. I hate giving blind offers but I'd certainly pay well for them.

Hmmm, are there more of these floating around than I realize? I thought these would be valuable by now.

Some people saw that it was a bug and made a VERY large amount of them. I have a back pack almost full <46> or them and other prenerf DIs that were looted. I wouldn't pay any thing for it. For most people the speed of the DI doesn't matter as much. It is only the space PvPers that worry about it. Only program I use that I ahve to worry about the delay before the next command would be the capacitor to shield shunt. Sure it might take longer to load all those programs when you start. But you don't have to load them again untill you have to do some major repairs. Most people can use a post nerf level 1 DI, load there programs when they launch then have more mass for every thing else. Only PvPers need th fastest speed so we can Cap to Shield shunt when we NEED to.

This is really a hit or miss thing.

Chances are, the people that know the value of these things and would use one, probably already have one.

For people who know what their doing in space these DIs are priceless. I had 2 (gave one to a friend). The FACT is they are legacy items. NEVER to be in game again. if you give 2 million and get one, consider yourself lucky. I built my A-wing around my REed level 1 14.9 speed, 498 mass DI.

Ohh, and by the way they were not nerfed they were corrected. It MAY have been a nerf. but the math wasn'timplemented as it wassopposed to be. They don't give a game breaking advantage (but they are awesome to have). and as the time rolls on. THere WILL be less of them around. Hold on to yours and never let it decay!

I just recently came back to the game after a 9 month hiatus.

I found a big stack of these in storage, 470ish on both Mass and Drain, and a lightning-fast 12.1 speed. I almost feel bad loading one up.

interesting Question Star.

I have one. I still use it. has 9.4 armor and 9.2 hitpoints left. And that doesnt' change hardly at all anymore.. been that way for a 2-3 monthsatleast.

Wish I had more lol. Thing is nice.

As for me, I would pay well for one. If it cost me 5 million to get one, so be it.

Yeah, well pre-nerf is much easier to say/type than pre-corrected-from-inversed-values-of-speed-versus-level.

And I'd have to agree that they are pricless. I had people on my forums offering 1 or 2 Million. I really don't want to let them go for that little.

Then I have Tek here who says he'd pay 5 Million. That's more like it, but I'm not going to make him pay 5 Mil either. I'd feel bad

So I think I've come to the conclusion that has been posted many times on these boards before. Good pilots would never sell good parts, as credits can be replaced but good parts are hard to come by.

So instead I'll be looking to trade for other good parts. Tek if you want one I'm looking to RE another L8 so if you have one with low mass or drain or can somehow get a hold of a mid 90's speed QID I'll gladly give you one or two of these.
