I'm building up to REing my Quantum Drive and was just wondering what a good PYR on it should be.
At the moment I have PY of 71.4 and R of 74.1 pre-RE.
Is that acceptable or am I wildly off what would be worthwhile?
Mass is coming in around 24.5k and speed at 89ish.

Well i'd ideally want them a little closer, and i'd also try and get at least a 71.5 on each stat, then you get at least 75 on the stats.
As for the mass and speed (also what is the reactor drain, if you're using EO4 this can quickly become your biggest headache). They can be improved, the speed more easily so than the mass. Min 90 Speed QID are that uncommon, in fact i reckon about 1 every 3 runs one drops in the mid 90's, on average at least. The mass i hope is the Pre RE stat, and it should be too bad for a Heavy ship like the Adv X wing or Opressor, but if you're planning on putting it in something smaller, i'd really try and shave an extra 1000 or 2000 off the mass. Though those drops are hard to come by.

I'd hate to see you put that Yaw and Pitch with that Roll--you'd regret it later. A 74.1 is really high for a level 8 part--hang onto it until you've got yaw and pitch to match.
My advice to you right now is, if you need a level 8 engine and you don't have one yet, throw together that one with a different engine for roll that's closer in line with what you've got in yaw and pitch. Then save up parts for a better RE, since you can improve on most of them with a little patience.

Your mass isnt bad at all but yeah a qid top speed of at least 95 pre re is a better start.. red of 1400 +/- 50 would good too.

Those stats, with the exception of the roll, are consistent with a good QID RE. I'd save that roll for a great QID RE. Get another 71ish roll to RE with the one you have now. Then you'll have a nice engine to play around with while you gather parts for an even better engine. This is what I did with my 95 speed preRE QID. After a couple of cross server nym trades, I have a 99 preRE QID and I just need to find YPR engines that are like your roll engine.

Thanks guys.
Can you repeat the QID quest then? The speed of 89 is coming from my QID.
The mass and speed above are all pre-RE.
I still have 2 reb squadrons to finish up, so I'll make do with my lv6 RE meantime and see what else I can come up with.
I'd like my Xwing to be the beast that it deserves to be

No unfortunatly in order to get other QID's you have to either do a cross server trade or by them from other players.

I guess I could make everyone jealous with my 98.6 spd, 81+ YPR, 16K mass engine...
But I won't. ![]()
