Thread: Space loot tips needed
Crafted components are always good to start with. As time passes you collect more and more pieces for various RE projects to gradually replace your crafted equipment. Some crafted equipment though is going to be tough to beat.
Reactors and Armor are the only crafted things that fall into that category. And blasters if you're into the quickshot upgrade (.260 refire delay).
Engines should be collected for REing to improve the YPR. Speed doesn't really matter as much after you get to a certain point.
REd Shields, Capacitors, Boosters and DIs are usually better than most crafted stuff you can find.
Personally I have a few great pieces of loot I'm saving until I get the best of the best components to RE them with, so I'll be using crafted things for some time to come.
As to what things you are looking for...thats really up to you. You'd have to explain more about your ship of choice anduse (PvE or PvP) before I can really start giving out specifics.
