It's not widely advertised, but indeed possible. You could of course be blown up halfway throughit by a player.

I wonder if you can do the 30 enemy fighters mission there as well?

Even if you can, there's little enough point, plus I think that mission starts only once you're in Kessel and fails if you leave.

Strange that, because I rarely see any Imps in deepspace either.
Although, in all fairness, I haven't been looking to pvp in DS for a few weeks, just doing alot of duty missions to get the gear together so I can get a pvp worthy A-wing, JSFs just aren't any fun.

Supprising fact
You can kill the corvettes in deepspace and get master from that..
Was doing this as a warmup for a friend of mines master mission, just killing a vette in deepspace with my decimator. Then we got the Mission compleete message
Btw, she is a RSF imp, and i am a imp pilot

depends on the time of day, UK around 9pm there are a few rebels who live in kessel waiting for the imp pilots to enter......
