Hey guys, iv got a couple problems being imp on the ground and neutral in space.

I want to go overt as imperial in DS as neutral ace <which im told and tried and could do> however theres a problem. When you go overt from an imp station and try to use the neutral station it says ""imperials arn't welcome here"" so i said ok and went to the endor imp deep space station....and it said i needed prestige points when i have 984k of pilot prestige.....So they want Imperial Prestige but when im overt in space being overt imperial (but being neutral ace in a krayt gunship) i do not gain imperial prestige. So how the heck am i saposed to get FP in deep space>:E why give neutrals the option of going imperial overt from stations and ability to use the imperial Deep space station if we can't get the imp prestige to use them?!?! Or am i missing something? Please help .....i love neutral ships too much and don't wish to go back to imp ace just to get FP in deep space....and yes i tried kessel but to few of kills there....plz help .

Nope. They screwed up and a year later they have yet to fix it,

Known issue, and seems to be working as intended.

You cannot faction-farm in Deep Space as a Privateer. Downside of being neutral, I guess.

So they give Neutral the best ships and restrict us for faction farming to the crappy ones for imp or reb? so lame!

You know, this means it's not possible to REACH DS once you declare, so I think something has to be fixed there. I'm not Freelancer, but landing so you can go to DS for any reason seems strange. If they wanted to block faction farming, I'm sure there's a better way...

I had the same problem, but as a ground rebel and space Freelancer.

I declared Overt at the Rebel Station near Talus, then flew over to Dantooine to the Rebel DS station and entered Kessel. There I farmed 30k rebel space faction and then I was able to enter Deep Space as Overt Rebel. Didn't really take all that long and I ended up with a few Rebel promotions to boot.

Hey,

Don't declare at an Imperial station before entering DS. As a neutral, go to the Deepspace/kessel station in Dath space as usual. Choose the option to enter DS. The station will tell you the empire has blocked access and the only way to get in is to "pose" as an imperial or use a rebel space lane. Since you want to go in as an imperial, choose "i understand" and they will let you through.

But are you overt when you arrive?

Nope. Im not overt when i get to the dath station. Just go to the station as a neutral pilot, undeclared (Not overt) and they will give you the option to enter into DS as an Imp.

Heh, I guess what I was aiming for was whether you are overt in DS after going through the Dath station. I guess the answer is yes and no. As a ground IMP, the rebs in DS are aggro, but I get no FP from them. I thought that was how it worked but was not sure.
