Hi all,

Im on my 4th squadron and seem to have hit a wall at Corsec tier 1 of all places!.

Im currently 1100 and have amassed 10k of pilot xp. The xp requirement per box is 7.5k, but when I ask to train, all I get is a choice of more duty missions - if I ask for training, the trainer says "Im not yet ready for training".

Now, due to my master bonus, ive not had to do any duty missions - I just killed a few tier 2 and 3 - but does anyone have any ideas whats gating me here? - do I have to complete a certain part of a duty mission before Im trained?

any ideas all?

I think you hve to finish a duty mission or two before he'll let you train.

Try taking a mission then canceling and talking to him again. I ran into a similar issue with Tier 4 storm squad, one of the rebel squads, and BE. I think it has something to do with already having the xp before it thinks you should be ready.

I seem to remember that at abotu that point I was forced to do a duty mission to be introduced to the concept... try the above suggestion.

argh...done two extremely boring duty missions all the way to the end (got 50k pilot xp now!) and he still wont let me train....

Im going to take a mission, quit it etc as suggested above and if that doesnt work, its easier just to start again I think
