Thread: Bug with space missions and a question

Over the weekend I was wanting to work on leveling my space skills. On Sunday I loaded up the game and got the mission from my trainer ( capture the shuttle mission from the Imperial Inquisitors ), launched into space so far so good and then the problem kicked in. In attacking the ships I can do NO DAMAGE to them. Zip, Nada, Nil, To Bad So Sad So Sorry. I tried loading a different weapon and trying the mission again, no change. I've tried targeting different parts of the ship, nothing. I can't even scratch the paint on any ship. I have tried different missions and the same thing happens. Any ideas on what might be going on ? Also while I don't mind using the mouse as a ship controller I would like to use my X-45 for space flight. What do I have to do to get the joystick working for that and does anyone have a x-45 profile for SWG that I could DL ?

do any red crosses appear when you fire on your target, or a high pitched alarm sounds? seems to me like your attacking either
a) someone elses targets
b) the incorrect ships on your mission.
if you feel that they are the right ships to be destroyed, submita csr ticket, and a csr will reset the mission /and/or spawn the fighters for you

It's got to be bugged then. These are definitely the right ships and I don't get the warning that I am shooting on a friendly. Now if I could just get my joystick working I will be a happy pilot
