Thread: Droid issue? Command issue? Pebcak?

I keep loading weapon overload 3 into my droid and committing, only to lose the droid command moduleand not see a change in droid commands.... it seemed to work fine when I loaded it initially (engine overload 3 is still there), but since I changed out for 2 new weapons, it just won't stick... I've burned through 100K in weapon overload 3 command modules... I've even cleared out a bunch of other commands to make sure there was room. The cleared commands aren't going away, nor is the new command loading. Is this a bug or user error? Do I need a new astro to make this work?

Thanks in advance.

New command isn't showing up because the module is near full and that command overfills it. Known bug that chips are lost when this is attempted.

In the future, remove the command you want removed.Commit those changes, and close out the interface. Check the listing in your datapad to see those commands are now deleted. Add in any commands you want from burned chips first, and commit them. Close out the module, and check it in the datapad again. Then add in any commands you can program from your own pilot skills last, and commit them.

Sounds more tedious I know, and I fully accept that all the steps may not be "needed" but since you are having troubles, and since I cannot see what you are doing without being there, and since the entire process has issues under certain conditions, I give you a detailed method that I am 99% sure will allow you to stop wasting money on programs
