As the title says i'm currently a Imp Colonel and ACE IMP pilot. but i want a ARC, but from what i've seen you have to complete the mission to fly the new ships, can buy /trade with someone else.

If i resign my commission as an Imperail and join the rebels (just to do the ARC quest then rejoin the empire) will i lost MASTER IMP pilot?????

i don't think you can do that. If I am correct you cannot be a Rebel on the ground and an Imp in space. I am a freelance in space so I can swap back and forth if needed to get ships except for the stickly reb or imp ships...i have the JSF and I have the ARC deed...the arc mission is badly bugged.

You will lose all factioned pilot skills as soon as you resign from your side. If you choose to do so, make sure you are not Inspired at the time.
