Reduce dead zone and mouse sensativity. Also if it's an optical mouse you may have to clean it.

Can't remember but is there such a setting in game as mouse sensitivity? If notyou'll prolly have to reduce that too(prolly outside the game in your mouse settings options)

I dont think its a dead zone issue though. I found that in space increasing the deadzone size gives you a wider range of movement and greater accuracy. Also, that doesnt explain why this problem only occurs with reversed y-axis... with a 'normal' y axis there is no issue.

Its almost like the mouse is 'skipping' Its really hard to describe. If you have a moment, i'd like to know if its just me or if its a common issue. If you arent a reverse pitch user, please give it a shot anyway to see if it does the same thing.

You'll know it when you 'feel' it.

Basically, motion on the x asis is normal, and motion on the y axis is normal until i select the 'invert y axis' option and then the y axis movement 'skips' unless i move the mouse very slowly. Its like it doesnt register the movement. Its trul bizarre. I've never encountered anything like it in another game.

When i reduce the dead zone size to 0, the problem does go away, however it makes piloting virtually imposisble because of the limited space within which the 'virtual joystick' has to make adjustments.

Do you guys use mouse/keyboard, and if so, do you find that using the much reduced sensitivy in space makes your ground sensitivity painful? I hate having to slide my mouse 12 inches to get my screen to turn 30 degrees while on the ground, yet having that same movement be a 360 degree rotation in space. Grr.

I think i'll be going back to joystick if i cant get this resolved.

Hi folks... I know i'm probably calling to a very slim audience, but i would appreciate some advice/help on the issue I seem to be having.

With reversed y axis, my 'virtual joystic' has serious issues. I can move side to side no problem, but any fast vertical movement of the mouse seems to generate some strange effects where the axis seems confused weather it should be going up or down... i pull back on my mouse slowly, and my cursor moves up at the apropriate speed. I pull back on my mouse quickly and the cursor twitches and fidgets but doesnt really move much.

Does anyone else have this issue or is it just me?

(note, this occurs in both space and on the ground with reversed y axis for the mouse). I have my 'game mouse deadzone) fairly large to allow a wider range of motion and more sensitivity while in space with that virtual joystick thingy)

Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Might have to update your mouse driver....since the problems only occur when you activate invert mouse vertical motion it might be just that....a stick is good for piloting but for turrets i still like using the mouse.
