What point of view (POV) do you use when you fly? And what do you like about that POV?

Myself, i have only flown in the FPS view. I dont play the ground game in the FPS, however flying i cant get a bead on targets otherwise. I will sometimes zoom out to 3rd person just to see how baddass the graphics and ship look while im not in combat.

I play in first person in space. It helps me get a feel for my character better. I feel like I'm really inside my ship. On the ground, I play in 3rd person, but that's because I got used to it in EverQuest, and never have been able to adapt to running around and not seeing myself.

Ditto, though im thinking i might start turning the frame off. Only keep it on cause i iike to feel like im flying a ship, and not floating through space like Peter Pan.

Same here - just really makes it immersive with that. Its nice to be in my YT and look over to see the passengers in the cockpit with me. Kinda cool.

I fly in 3rd person, especially in PvP, you get a wider field of view with it, allowing you to track targets more efficiently.

Firstperson with cockpit frame on. I use the padlock view alot too.

I started playing with FPS, but switched to 3rd person. I find seeing my ship more enjoyable.

For PvP I use third person zoomed all the way out.

For PvE or helping folks on missions I tend to use first person with cockpit on. Like a few of the above posters I do it for the "feeling" of being in a fighter and it just add's that XWing vs TIE feeling as well.

I alternate between cockpit view and 3rd person view depending on how I feel. Some ships I find it easier to lead using one view or the other.
