is 28.xK energy Reactor abnormal?
i've got quite about a dozen stashed away for RE'ing one day... and the highest the others are is around 16k

Not particularly abnormal, a nice drop to be sure, but not abnormal.
My level7 with 41k power, now that's abnormal....

Is there any use for a reactor that produces way more power than needed? i just cant see myself using over 25k even in say my b wing...

I betcha once Elite parts are working right, I can eat a big chunk of power by building them with the increased drain parts.
If droid programs worked properly when it came to added reactor drains, it would also make it pretty easy to suck up lots of power.

guess it means i wont need to use reactor overload program, and can replace it with something else in my droid...
edit: I've found a 27.5k mass lvl 8 reactor, will i likely to find lighter for re'ing purposes?

I haven't seen anything greater than 30k generation drop in a long time.

It's a rare drop on level 8 reactors. I forget the exact name of the reactor, but the name typcialy ends in e RZ-2 or RC-2 or somethign like that.
Ive looted about 4 of them. My best one is about a little over 45K output after being RE'd. I named it, "Chernobyl ThermoNuclear Reactor" out of jest

I have a lvl 2 reactor with outpout of 14750 which does the job for me.
I also looted a 40k odd output reactor but i cant remember where i put it! lol!

yes that does sound just like its name... i actually have another, but that came out with 0 energy... put it down to a bug...

I think I've found in the 22-23K mass range, and it should be possible to find lighter. They're not very common, though.
