I am posting to determine whether there is anyone that can tell me how to determine a chassis' stats?
I see posts that state stats such as speed index, YPR ratings, acceleration, and deceleration. However, there is nothing that I have looked at that states these stats. I have looked on blueprints, deeds, the ship management screen, and the ship details screen (in space), and none of these specify the stats that I see in other posts.
I am pretty sure that speed index can be calculated by the following formula:
speed(max)
speed-index = ----------------------------
10 * speed(engine)
However, I am at a loss to determine the means by which players have caculated other stats, such as YRP rating. For example, what does it mean for a ship chassis to have a pitch rating of 600. I know it is good, but I would like to know how someone went about calculating this number given available data.
I would also like to know how they calculate the acceleration and deceleration of a ship.

PYR acceleration rates on forums are generally given in tenths of a degree / (second^2). so 600 is 60 degrees / (second^2). In-game, the PYR acceleration rates are given in tenths of a 'radian'. But since radian measure isn't very common, i'll just leave it at that.

Pretty sure I saw those stats up on the left when you press V up in space.

Right, but I want to determine the correlation between these stats and those posted in the stickies. They're not the same, but I understand that there is probably some relationship between them.

This is helpful, but these are the stats are looking for:
speed index, YPR speed ratings (not acceleration), acceleration, deceleration

PYR on engines is given in tenths of radians/second i think. not sure.

i told you. the stats you see when you press V are given in radian measure, the stats in the stickies are given in degrees.
