Obviously it's been proven that /conv can be added to non-starbase objects, so what's the holdup? Place reward-granting missions in Deep Space.

At least it'll make DS worth something other than the stack of crappy parts you get for fragging the two biggest targets in the game.

It'd also give a reason for the targets being invulnerable.
