this squad is supposed to be true neutral according to the faq...and say that for the master mission the reb or the imp vette can be chosen...
my question though is this...
In this squadron when goin into places such as kessel or deep space is there the option to choose either rebel or imperial...and if so areyou open to attack only from the opposite faction from the one you choose to represent?

When you go to Kessel, you can shoot anything, they don't aggro you (except the few Corsairs there) until you do. When you go to Deep Space, you have to pick a side, and if you have a ground faction it has to be THAT side...

No, they could, but when declaring they could only declare Rebel.
For instance, I'm ground Imperial but Smuggler's Alliance pilot. I can only declare Imp for Deepspace.

Nope, it means that even though I'm a freelance pilot, since I'm factioned on the ground I can ONLY declare FOR that faction in Deepspace.

You can kill anything you want EXCEPT in Deepspace.

hate to break it to you but.. im an RSF ace and rebel on the ground... my friends are all rebel pilots and i cannot kill imperials in any circumstance except in deepspace.
a friend of mine needed help on a mission. couldnt do anything to tie fighters, tried to go overt in normal space ( overt rebel ) could still not do anything to imperials. In deep space i could kill them though.
*edit* forgot that you were corsec pilot now doh
or are you gonna do RSF?

Just to add to the confusion, if you're a Corsec Ace and choose a faction to go into deepspace. If you go into Kessel later, you may be still aligned with that faction you chose earlier .Which means the opposite faction will see you as an enemy and you may have trouble getting close to ships you could sidle up to before as pure neutral.Iunderstandthat this is a bug and you can clear it by re-deeding your ship. Just FYI.
