Last night I finally completed my first tier 3 mission for Storm Squadron (1 hour 40 mins!!!) and I have to say that the TIE Intercepter has replaced the Bel-22 as my second favorite ship (the vaksai will always be first... even if I can't fly it /cry) that thing has good mass and uber style points. We have a mass PvP battle this weekend and I will probably use it. Any super double top secret tips on outfitting it with L7 components and under?

wow...I bet if I had posted something like "I HAVE to make 4333 so I can use my JSF" I would have gotten tons of responses.

if you ask me the squint has a few flaws that the T/A makes up for nicely.

Sorry, trolling else-where, lol... Normal Intercepter, not the Royal? Let me see what I can pull off the top of my head without my SW toys:

  • Reactor: Mark I crafted with overdriver, unless you have an great RE 2

  • Shields: Mark IV, or an exceptional RE'd Nyms.

  • Engine: Mark IV

  • Armor - none

  • Capacitor: Mark I, heavy batter upgrade, maxed on recharge for final product. Alternately, quick recharge upgrade, but with single weapon don't need.

  • Booster: Mark I

  • Droid Interface: Mark I or whatever fits.

  • Weapon: Mark IV, or an exceptional RE'd 7

That should be close to 50K mass.

it should be interesting... I can't wait... From the very brief mail I got we are going to fight over control of a ship then the winning side will escort it to a designated wp while the other side tries to take it back.

TIE interceptor only has one gun. T/A has two.

I have never seen an Interceptor (except for the RGI) in space. What does the hit box look like compared to the advanced?

I'll try and be there. I'll probably be bringing my advanced. Anyone got about 5 L6 engines? I need to get my reward RE'd.

In fact I have two of the level 6 reward engines that I'd be willing to trade for one that has been RE'd decently.

(the 63/63/63 79 TS variety).
