when captain koh tells you to escort some y8's through kashyyykian space, the y8's never spawn.

It must be a bug that can be worked around, a friend and I both got our deeds a couple of weeks ago.

He11 of a way to run a game. This has been bugged for weeks now. I'll give them a hint: when you open the quest details in your datapad, they're not there (it's blank). The quest isn't getting properly assigned to the character.
SOE, get your act together.
RoW was totally rushed out the door to coincide with Episode III release. It never works to have development be a slave to marketing. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.

and you did nothing unusual to work around the problem?
He tells me to escort, I have the step in my quest log I think - but it never triggers in space.

It was working all the way up to publish 18. We are on publish 19 now and publish 20 will be out next week with no fix for the mining mission in it so far.
Depressed yet?

I just found this wonderful feature myself. Go to the Kashyyyk system, the quest journal says. Ok, I'm here! where's the bleeping Y-8's, already? Do I need a more powerful ship than my mining X-wing (which is packing a lvl 8 cannon to take care of bandits) to make them spawn? Or do we have to wait for the devs to notice the problem? I've tried launching from Kashyyyk, as well as h-spacing in. Anyone else still wainting on this, /bug it!
:edit: fascinating how whne I go to bug it, there's not a single category that has to do with space or quests, the closest thing i could find was missions/waypoints

I've /bugged it about 4 times a week since I first encountered the bug shortly after 18 went live. Not like it's doing any good...they won't even give us an ETA on when it will be fixed. :/
